Junior Staff Accountant

Providing essential financial and operational support, the full-time Junior Staff Accountant will manage credit card processing, respond to disputes, and assist in monthly close activities while working remotely. Key responsibilities Ensure proper processing of credit cards and reconcile discrepancies between the bank and reservation system daily Respond to chargebacks, prepare necessary documentation, and record information into the reservation system Prepare journal entries for month-end close and update account reconciliations Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related major Familiarity with GAAP Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills Experience with Great Plains or similar accounting program preferred
