HR Manager

Job Description

Day-to-Day:

• Serve as the primary HR partner supporting plant leadership and managers

• Report directly to the Plant Manager with a dotted-line reporting relationship to Corporate HR leadership

• Oversee HR policies, procedures, employee relations, workers' compensation, and compliance programs

• Conduct investigations and ensure fair, consistent application of policies and disciplinary processes

• Support recruiting activities including requisition approvals, salary reviews, candidate screening, and onboarding

• Track and report HR metrics including attrition, open positions, and other key performance indicators

• Partner with managers on performance management, documentation, corrective actions, and PIP processes

• Drive employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture-building activities

• Provide HR guidance and coaching to plant leadership and management teams

• Support HR systems management including ADP, Kronos, SAP, and the ongoing SuccessFactors migration

• Ensure accurate timekeeping and workforce data management

• Maintain a positive, non-union work environment through proactive employee engagement and communication

This individual will act as a key strategic partner to plant leadership, supporting all areas of human resources including employee relations, compliance, performance management, recruiting support, onboarding, engagement initiatives, and HR reporting. The ideal candidate is a servant leader who enjoys working closely with both hourly employees and leadership teams to foster a positive workplace culture. Skills and Requirements

Must-Haves:

• 2-3+ years of HR Manager or Human Resources leadership experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Organizational Development, or related field

• Experience supporting a workforce of at least 100-200 employees

• Strong experience working with hourly employee populations

• Employee relations experience including investigations, disciplinary actions, policy enforcement, and compliance

• Experience developing and driving employee engagement programs and culture initiatives

• Experience with HRIS systems such as ADP, Kronos, SuccessFactors, or similar platforms

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or comparable systems

• Experience managing timekeeping/payroll systems and employee data

• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Plusses:

• SHRM Certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP)

• Manufacturing industry experience

• Experience supporting HRIS migrations or system implementations

• Experience with SAP to SuccessFactors transitions
