Site Supervisor

Illumination Health + Home is a growing non‑profit organization dedicated towards disrupting the cycle of homelessness by providing targeted, interdisciplinary services in our recuperative care centers, emergency shelters, housing services, and children’s and family programs. IH+H currently has 13+ facilities with 22+ micro‑communities across Orange County, Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire. Role The Site Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment for clients. The Site Coordinator is responsible for enforcing facility rules, assisting with client needs, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of the site. The starting pay rate for this position is $25.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for $1.00 swing‑shift differential and $2.00 graveyard shift differential. The schedule for this role may vary and will be subject to operational needs. Responsibilities Client Care & Support Train and educate all new hire site attendances Create hard copy of assignments for all site attendance Assist site staff with client intakes by preparing client bed area and ensuring bedding and surrounding areas are clean and ready before client arrival Assist site staff with client move‑outs, including the packing of belongings and final room sanitation Conduct routine wellness check‑ins with clients and site staff Conduct facility walk‑throughs to ensure facility cleanliness in client rooms and staff office Perform scheduled and unscheduled screening for client belongings to ensure compliance with site rules and to prevent prohibited items from entering the facility Perform any other duties assigned by leadership to support client care and facility operations Meal Preparation & Food Safety Ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner in accordance with food safety standards (e.g., proper food storage, temperature control, hand hygiene, cross‑contamination prevention) Ensure kitchen sanitation before and after every meal service, including countertops, prep areas, and utensils Disinfect client common areas after every meal, including tables and seating areas Sanitation & Housekeeping Ensure site staff observes universal precautions in any cleaning, including proper PPE usage and safe handling of bodily fluids. Follow bio‑hazard protocols when cleaning spills or contamination. Assist site staff with routine janitorial duties daily, including: Sweeping and mopping all floors (client rooms, hallways, kitchen) Vacuuming carpeted areas. Emptying trash bins. Dusting surfaces, windows, and vents as needed. Conduct deep cleaning of client dorms/rooms weekly or upon discharge, including disinfecting mattresses, wiping down surfaces, laundering linens, and inspecting for pests or damage. Transportation & Vehicle Maintenance Occasionally drive clients to and from scheduled appointments and program activities, ensuring timely and safe transport in compliance with organizational protocols. Check‑in client vehicles for fuel, maintenance, and insurance updates. Maintain daily transportation logs (mileage, purpose, and any issues during transit). Report vehicle maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately. Ensure vehicles are kept sanitized daily (steering wheel, seat covers, dashboard, and gear shift) before and after each use. Set and maintain healthy boundaries with clients and staff. Be able to meet targets and work under pressure. Communicate concerns and feedback to the Site Manager with tact and professionalism. Demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality of client information and work‑related materials. Minimum Qualifications/Preferred Experience Required High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Basic computer skills, including the ability to send and receive emails and summarize data in spreadsheets. Valid CA Driver’s License, 5 years of clean DMV record, and eligibility for company vehicle insurance. Preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
