Accounting Manager

A large real estate investment and management firm is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team and supervise the day-to-day accounting, treasury, and operational tasks for an assigned portfolio of real estate investments. This is a hands‑on roll with exposure to all aspects of the business and potential for significant growth. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Train, supervise and review the work of internal and outsourced Accounting close functions Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide coaching and mentoring to team members Continuously assess accounting processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing streamlined workflows Participate in monthly draw process Participate in coordination and completion of annual audits Participate in preparation of property budgets and projections Interact with internal management, internal investment team, internal property managers, banking institutions, investors, lenders, JV partners, external tax and legal advisors, and auditors as necessary Participate in deal closings including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions Ad hoc projects as requested QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA designation preferred 3+ years of Real estate investment accounting/operations experience at an owner/operator/lender or third‑party administrator Strong leadership abilities and a proven track record in team management Ability to foster a collaborative and high‑performing team environment Motivated and dependable team player with impeccable ethics who maintains strict confidentiality Excellent written and oral communication skills Sound business acumen and decision‑making skills with an aptitude for identifying when issues need escalation to senior management Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency with RealPage software is a big plus but not required #AIONhire Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.For further information, please review the Know Your Rights notice from the Department of Labor. #J-18808-Ljbffr
