Job Title: Finish Carpenter Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing carpentry tasks such as reading blueprints, installing doors and hardware, metal stud framing, drywall hanging, and drywall finishing on commercial construction projects. The ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints for commercial construction projects.

• Install doors and hardware with precision.

• Perform metal stud framing accurately.

• Hang and finish drywall to a high standard.

• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.

Essential Skills

• 3-5+ years of experience as a commercial carpenter.

• Proficient in metal stud framing.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Experience with doors and hardware installation.

• Skilled in hanging and finishing drywall.

Work Environment

The position involves working inside a climate-controlled building, focusing on carpenter tasks in office spaces. This environment ensures a comfortable temperature while allowing you to concentrate on delivering high-quality carpentry work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
