Carpenter - Framing / Construction

Job Title: Finish Carpenter Job Description This role focuses on commercial finish carpentry work in office spaces, including reading and interpreting blueprints, installing doors and hardware, and performing metal stud framing, drywall hanging, and drywall finishing. You will work independently while consistently delivering high-quality workmanship and adhering to strict safety standards on commercial construction projects.

Read and interpret blueprints accurately to plan and execute commercial carpentry tasks.

Perform metal stud framing for commercial office spaces, ensuring structural integrity and proper layout.

Hang drywall on framed walls and ceilings in accordance with project specifications.

Finish drywall, including taping, mudding, and sanding, to achieve smooth, paint-ready surfaces.

Maintain high-quality workmanship across all tasks, meeting or exceeding project standards.

Collaborate with other trades and team members on commercial construction projects as needed.

Use appropriate tools and equipment for carpentry, framing, and drywall work in a safe and effective manner.

3–5+ years of experience as a commercial carpenter.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints for commercial construction projects.
• Strong skills in metal stud framing in commercial environments.
• Ability to hang drywall efficiently and to specification.
• Ability to finish drywall, including taping, mudding, and sanding, to a high-quality standard.
• Capability to work independently while maintaining consistent quality and productivity.
• Commitment to following safety standards and best practices on commercial job sites.

Previous experience working on commercial office space construction or renovation projects.

Ability to coordinate tasks with other construction professionals on site.

Reliable work habits and ability to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
