Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and physical structures within a manufacturing facility. This role will coordinate daily maintenance activities, communicate with production and management, and provide leadership, training, and supervision to the maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical, hydraulic, welding, and fabrication skills, along with previous supervisory experience.Ensure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application.Compensation:$45 per hour Contract-to-Hire / Direct Hire NegotiableFull Time PositionSchedule:6am-2pm Monday-Friday 4-6 weeks of training9am-5pm Once training is completedLocation:Kent, WaResponsibilities:Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, equipment, and physical structuresCommunicate with production and management regarding maintenance issues and plant needsVisually inspect and test machinery and equipment to identify potential problemsOrganize and plan daily maintenance activitiesPrepare for scheduled maintenance and coordinate work to minimize production downtimeDevelop and organize schedules for special projects and preventive maintenanceMaintain good housekeeping throughout the maintenance shop and all maintenance areasEnsure adherence to company safety rules and proceduresCoordinate and ensure monthly safety meetings are held with all maintenance employeesOrder parts required for special projects and routine maintenance suppliesListen for unusual machine or equipment sounds and monitor changes in machine operation to identify malfunctionsWork with supervisors and maintenance personnel to diagnose equipment problems and determine appropriate repairsDismantle defective machinery and equipment and install new or repaired componentsClean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery componentsTrain, supervise, and provide guidance to other members of the maintenance teamPerform additional maintenance duties and special projects as assignedRequirements:Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentPrevious supervisor or team lead experience requiredKnowledge and experience with block production requiredStrong mechanical, hydraulic, welding, and fabrication skillsAbility to troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and equipmentUnderstanding of preventive maintenance practices and maintenance schedulingAbility to organize maintenance activities xhyhwjd and prioritize work based on production needsStrong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to train, lead, and supervise maintenance personnelComputer skills preferredKnowledge of PLC systems and controls preferredAbility to communicate effectively with production employees, supervisors, management, and maintenance personnelBenefits:On the contract-to-hire program, you will have access to a basic MEC planTruFit Staffing is an equal opportunity employer and does not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other basis prohibited by federal, state, or local law.
