As a Network Security Tech on the team, you will report directly to the Director of Vigilant Connect. Primary Responsibilities Identify and resolve hardware and software, and network problems for clientsConfigure, Deploy, Support Next Gen FirewallsProvide technical remote and onsite support to clients and internal staffCoordinate capacity, planning and analyze customer infrastructuresMaintain comprehensive documentation of hardware configurations, software installations, and network setupsProvide insightful change recommendations based on documentation analysis to elevate the client experience and streamline operationsWillingness to dive in and tackle any challenge head-on will be key to this position's growth and successMinimum QualificationsAssociates DegreeDemonstrated understanding of networking, firewalls, server, and client/server technologiesMinimum of 2+ years of industry experiencePrefer Industry standard certifications, CCNA, NSE, MicrosoftDemonstrate sound judgment and technical aptitudeDemonstrate ability to identify problems and work creatively to resolve them, considering the impact of actions on other departments and Team MembersDemonstrate ability to respond in a flexible manner and to reprioritize work as situations changeDemonstrate initiative to learn new skills or expand job rolesEvaluate work and move ahead if further steps "above and beyond" should be takenCommunicate effectively, both orally and in written form, technical information with a wide variety of individuals and groups.Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational, and team-oriented environment (including non-standard work hoursPreferred QualificationsSuperior customer service and communication skillsFortinet Suite Of ProductsAdmin Knowledge of Office365 with emphasis in email securityDatto TechnologiesDeployment and troubleshooting Windows ServersKnowledge of scriptingWorking knowledge of core networking technologies and protocolsKnowledge of Cloud technologiesKnowledge of Linux Operating systemsKnowledge of Backup TechnologiesWorking knowledge of virtualization technologiesKnowledge of SDWANWorking Knowledge of Fortinet Firewalls and firewall platformsOther RequirementsThis role leverages a flex-schedule that may involve nontraditional working hours.
