The EPD will also provide security risk assessments for the Senior Executive, that includes, home intrusion detection system reviews and report findings. This role is for full-time employment and may require long hours and weekends. The Senior Executive travels frequently and therefore the EPD will assist with other aspects of the Corporate Executive Protection Program.What You’ll DoSafely transport Senior Executive, family, and guests to and from destinations, including offices, appointments, meetings, airports, events, etc.Provide close protection and other security-related functions, as neededConduct thorough advance planning to identify potential threats or obstacles affecting the Senior Executive’s drive scheduleOversee the vehicle maintenance, vehicle insurance, garage, regulations, and records of services are kept up to dateConduct continuous threat assessments for proactive risk managementProvide protection services for corporate on-site and local off-site events for the Senior Executive, and other company officialsWork closely with executive support staff to obtain daily schedule, executive trips, meetings, and other off-site events to plan protective and transportation strategiesAssist in managing and monitoring ongoing risks which may impact the security of the Senior Executive and the organizationEstablish relationships with local law enforcement and other appropriate Agencies to receive and relay crime, safety, and other information that supports the general security of the Senior ExecutiveFlexibility with hours; available to work on short notice, when neededRun errands, general maintenance, and carry out special requestsExtensive knowledge of Southern Florida, including public and private airportsAssist in updating standard operating procedures to support the growing executive protection functionOther security related duties as assigned for CEO, company executives and or operating companiesRequirementsA minimum of 10 years of experience in a Law Enforcement capacity preferred, with at least 3 years of experience driving/providing executive protection for C-Suite Executives, high level government officials or Foreign DignitariesBachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Security Management, Safety, or related field preferredMust have concealed carry credentialsMust possess a clean and current Driver’s LicenseTrained in evasive driving techniques, preferableExperience in the collection and analysis of threat intelligence preferredWill maintain a high level of confidentiality with regards to Corporate Executives to include family contact information, residence locations, and residence security systemsFlexible schedule, ability to work early mornings, evenings and weekends as needed with little noticeMust present a positive demeanor with an ability to interact and relate well with both external and internal contacts at all levels, up to and including Executives, VIPs, Board Members and Family MembersStrong written and verbal communication skills, sound decision-making, and attention to detail are criticalMust have strong problem-solving skills with an ability to pivot quickly with excellent resultsBasic First Aid knowledge – CPR and AEDMust be able to travel domesticallyWhat We OfferThis position offers the opportunity to join a collegial, entrepreneurial firm committed to the personal and professional growth of its team members and to maintaining a positive, encouraging work environment where people enjoy working together.
