Jacinta is seeking experienced Grill Cooks to join our culinary team. If you're passionate about food, thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, and take pride in your craft, we want to hear from you!
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Operate grill station and maintain proper cooking temperatures
- Ensure food presentation meets restaurant standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work station
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work efficiently during high-volume service periods
- Communicate effectively with kitchen team and expeditor
- Prep ingredients and stock stations for service
- Monitor food quality and consistency throughout shift
- Assist with inventory and receiving as needed
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook or grill cook required
- Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow recipes and plating instructions
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler's Certificate (or ability to obtain)
- Must have authorization to work in the US
