Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driving Role Patrol in MELVILLE, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and document security-related activities using a computer or tablet. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking facilities, building exteriors, entrances, and perimeter areas. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel. Complete required daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
