This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $20-28/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Mechanical Assembler and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies used in electrical power distribution equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, technical drawings, and layout instructionsWork with materials including:Sheet metalStructural steelCable trayMechanical framingElectrical equipment enclosuresMeasure, align, fit, and fasten components accuratelyDrill and tap electrical equipment and structural componentsSupport assembly of equipment including:Low- and medium-voltage MCCsSwitchgearUPS systemsPower distribution assembliesCustom modular equipmentUse hand tools, power tools, drills, taps, grinders, and measuring equipmentPerform layout and fitting based on drawings and templatesInspect completed parts and assemblies for fit, quality, and defectsRepair or replace defective components when necessaryAssist with prototype builds and custom fabrication projectsSupport process improvements and new assembly methodsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaRequirements:Experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, or similar lifting equipment is preferredBe Safe from fraud!
