Mechanical Assembler

Description Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Mechanical Assemblers for projects located in the Denver, CO area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $20-28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies used in electrical power distribution equipment Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, technical drawings, and layout instructions Work with materials including: Sheet metal Structural steel Cable tray Mechanical framing Electrical equipment enclosures Measure, align, fit, and fasten components accurately Drill and tap electrical equipment and structural components Support assembly of equipment including: Low- and medium-voltage MCCs Switchgear UPS systems Power distribution assemblies Custom modular equipment Use hand tools, power tools, drills, taps, grinders, and measuring equipment Perform layout and fitting based on drawings and templates Inspect completed parts and assemblies for fit, quality, and defects Repair or replace defective components when necessary Assist with prototype builds and custom fabrication projects Support process improvements and new assembly methods Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Requirements Experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, or similar lifting equipment is preferred Company Details Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
