Data Center Technician

*Job Description*

* Maintain data center operations to ensure high availability, reliability, and consistent service levels
* Perform hardware and network diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs
* Conduct root cause analysis for hardware and software failures and implement corrective actions
* Provide technical support and guidance to data center teams
* Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
* Deliver training to internal teams on systems, tools, and processes
* Create and maintain scripts to support updates to server and networking hardware
* Manage and track inventory of data center equipment and assets
* Assemble, install, and configure data center hardware and equipment
* Perform maintenance and calibration of testing and tooling equipment
* Travel occasionally to support operations at other data center locations
* Expect 10 hours shifts & weekend work, OT is a possibility


*Additional Skills & Qualifications*

* Hands-on experience with computer hardware, including troubleshooting, assembly, and repair
* Working knowledge of Linux operating systems
* Ability to meet physical job requirements, with reasonable accommodations as needed
* Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in elevated or confined spaces when required
* Comfortable working in a 24/7 operational environment, including participation in on-call rotations and providing after-hours support
* Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
* Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and respond quickly to urgent issues in a fast-paced environment
*Job Type & Location*
This is a Contract position based out of Red Oak, TX.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
