Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact working in a supportive K-12 educational environment as a special education instructor for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This full-time, onsite contract position involves educating and supporting students with significant cognitive, developmental, and/or behavioral challenges, ensuring each learner is empowered to succeed.
You’ll collaborate with colleagues and families to develop and implement individualized education programs, utilizing evidence-based strategies tailored to each student’s unique needs. Openings are available across elementary, middle, and high school classrooms, allowing you to work with a diverse population.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Ohio intervention specialist certification required
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
- Experience or a strong desire to support students with a range of disabilities
- Dedication to promoting inclusion, growth, and well-being in an educational setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized academic and behavioral instruction tailored to individual student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Foster a positive, structured classroom environment that encourages participation and progress
- Communicate regularly with students, families, and colleagues to support student success
- Collect and maintain records on student progress and achievement
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet varied learning levels
