What You’ll Do
As an Osteopathic Neuromuscular Skeletal Medicine Physician, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional care:
- Perform medical evaluations and manipulative treatments in skilled nursing facilities.
- Diagnose and treat neuromuscular and skeletal conditions with a hands-on, patient-centered approach.
- Educate patients and families about wellness and prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
- Seamlessly document patient encounters using modern electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility (BC/BE) in Osteopathic Neuromuscular Skeletal Medicine.
- Experience with hands-on patient care, including administering injections.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems (experience with Epic is a plus).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- A passion for patient-centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration.
