The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) role is to assist the Nurse Manager in achieving an environment of excellence in clinical quality, safety, and service. This role functions as a staff nurse and/or relief charge nurse as needed on his/her assigned unit and assumes a nursing leadership role as delegated by the Nurse Manager.**Job Requirements:****Education:*** Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing**Licenses and/or Certifications:*** Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association* Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas* National certification in specialty area, or will obtain within one year or minimal amount of time that requirements can be met**Work Experience:*** 3 years of nursing experienceMethodist Midlothian Medical Center is the first full-service, acute care hospital in Midlothian, Texas.
