• Lead day-to-day operations of the ultrasound division 
• Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure operational efficiency 
• Cultivate a positive workplace environment 
• Serve as clinical resource for sonographers 
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of ultrasound studies 
• Collaborate with the office manager on operational matters 
• Maintain IAC accreditation and suggest improvements in policies and procedures 
• Ensure compliance of technical staff with IAC standards 
• Support staff training and educational development 
• Oversee equipment maintenance, upgrades, storage of ultrasound images, and EMR integration 
• Provide a welcoming environment for patients and prepare them for ultrasound studies 
• Assist in data collection for research activities  
• Uphold patient safety and comfort at all times 
• Perform and document vascular studies 
• Ensure all vascular studies performed are of optimum quality and provide a positive patient experience 
• Accurately code vascular studies  
• Collaborate with the billing department on coding and reimbursement matters 
• Travel to satellite offices, with travel reimbursement. 
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to regulatory guidelines (IAC, HIPAA, OSHA)  
• Oversee the maintenance of RVT certification of the staff 

• Leadership and management skills  
• Excellent vascular testing skills including venous, carotid, and arterial studies. 
• Polite, professional, and upbeat attitude when dealing with patients and co-workers. 
• Excellent patient interaction skills 
• Careful attention to detail 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills 
• Ability to work independently and be able to multi-task seamlessly. 
• Good time management skill 

• Bachelor level degree (preferred) 
• Registered Vascular Technologist (Required) 
• BLS Certification (Preferred) 

• Minimum 4 years of vascular testing with progressively responsible experience in leading department. Experience in successful completion of IAC accreditation application preferred
