This position is Full-Time Monday-Friday, some weekend coverage required.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a minimum of one year of RN experience for this role. Preferred qualifications include 3-5 years of infusion nursing experience, chemotherapy certifications, and coordinator experience. This position may also provide coverage at our IU Health North clinic.

The RN in this role will serve as a lead coordinator for patients with complex infusion needs, playing a critical role in ensuring seamless, high-quality care across multiple specialty areas. This position requires strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and providers across various disease-specific divisions to coordinate and manage complex infusion therapies.

This role includes some weekend coverage, no holiday requirements, and offers the opportunity to play a key leadership role in the coordination and delivery of complex infusion services.

Nursing skills gained on this unit:

• Critical thinking in a fast-paced environment

• Nursing skills such as Central Line access and maintenance care, PIVs, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood product, and medication administration

Qualifications:

• Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
• Registered Nurse (RN) must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
