Are you passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences in a vibrant coastal setting? Little Clam, a modern New England coastal restaurant located within our boutique hotel, is seeking a Food Runner to join our team.

Nestled within our boutique hotel, Little Clam offers an immersive culinary experience celebrating the freshness of local seafood and seasonal produce. Our menu highlights New England's rich coastal heritage with a focus on New England's iconic coastal cuisine. Join us in creating memorable dining moments that capture the essence of our coastal surroundings.

Food Runners play an essential role in the guest experience and act as a key connection between the kitchen and dining room. This position requires energy, attention to detail, and the ability to move quickly while maintaining a warm and engaging presence.

Your role:

• Deliver food accurately and efficiently from the kitchen to guests
• Consistently delivers courteous, professional service.
• Assist servers in ensuring smooth and timely service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
• Reset and prepare tables for incoming guests
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house staff
• Support overall restaurant operations as needed
• Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers, kitchen and bar staff

What are we looking for?

• An engaging and welcoming personality
• Previous restaurant experience preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of menu items
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for creating exceptional guest experiences
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays or plates as needed
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 25 lbs
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation: $16.00
