Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for the night shift. This position involves providing comprehensive respiratory care and support to adult patients in an inpatient and emergency department setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer 5–6 ventilator treatments per day.
• Draw and analyze arterial blood gases (ABGs) from arterial lines and punctures.
• Assist with intubations as needed.
• Work collaboratively as part of the respiratory therapy team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care and mechanical ventilation.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and either CRT or RRT (preference for RRT).
• Experience with adult patient care.

Schedule

This role is for the night shift, with shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The schedule includes a weekend requirement of every other weekend and potentially holidays.

Unit Notes

• Department: Respiratory Therapy
• Working in a supportive environment with a respiratory manager and lead therapists on each shift.
• Department-specific orientation is provided.

Equipment Used

Familiarity with the following equipment is preferred: 840/980 ventilators, V60, CPAP, BiPAP, and Vapotherm high flow devices.

Location

This position is located in a healthcare facility in the city of Seattle, WA.
