Role Description The Marketing Director role at Candy Cloud is a full-time, on-site position based in Machesney Park, IL. The Marketing Director will lead the development and execution of the brand’s marketing strategy, including campaign planning, brand positioning, and local store marketing initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing digital and social media content, managing promotional calendars, coordinating in-store promotions, and partnering with operations to ensure marketing aligns with guest experience and business goals. This role will analyze performance metrics, track market trends, and adjust strategies based on data and customer feedback. The Marketing Director will also collaborate with leadership on budgeting, manage relationships with external vendors or agencies, and support sales growth through targeted community outreach and partnerships. Qualifications Proficiency in Market Planning and Marketing Management, with experience building and executing integrated marketing strategies. Strong skills in Market Research and Marketing, including analyzing customer data, competitive landscapes, and consumer trends to inform decisions. Background in Sales and revenue-focused initiatives, with the ability to align marketing activities to measurable business outcomes. Experience in digital marketing, including social media management, basic analytics tools, and content planning for consumer brands. Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to guide teams and influence stakeholders. Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced retail or foodservice environment and translate guest insights into actionable marketing programs. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
