Senior Legal Specialist

Position: Healthcare Regulatory Attorney Interview Mode: In Person Equipment: Computer/Laptop Software: Microsoft 365 Suite and Microsoft Dynamics Job Responsibilities Support the development of enforcement actions against licensed healthcare facilities and Certified Nurse Aides. Prepare regulatory actions related to federal Medicare and Medicaid conditions of participation and applicable healthcare licensure requirements. Investigate and evaluate allegations of abuse, neglect, and misappropriation of resident property involving nurse aides. Prepare and litigate cases involving the suspension or revocation of nurse aide certifications before administrative law authorities. Participate as a member of Informal Dispute Resolution panels. Assist with drafting Independent Informal Dispute Resolution recommendations. Conduct legal research and analyze legal documents, regulations, rules, and legislation. Review and evaluate healthcare regulatory and compliance matters. Mandatory Qualifications Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Minimum one year of experience as an attorney or in legal research, regulatory analysis, or reviewing legal documents, legislation, rules, and regulations. Eligible to practice law in the state where the position is located. Current Certificate of Good Standing or a valid license to practice law in a U.S. state.
