We are partnering with a well-established mailing services company in Winston-Salem that is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join its team. This organization has been serving clients for decades and offers a friendly, supportive environment where employees are trusted to do their jobs while still maintaining flexibility outside of work.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on with the day-to-day accounting functions of a business, but also has experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries.
What You'll Do
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and general accounting tasks
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
- Support the month-end close process
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Assist with basic financial reporting
- Work with team members across the company when accounting questions arise
- Help keep accounting processes organized and running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Familiarity with AP, AR, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Basic understanding of month-end close
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently while also being part of a collaborative team
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Someone dependable, approachable, and willing to jump in where needed
