We are working with a family friendly, family owned company in the WInston-Salem, NC area seeking to hire a hands-on, fully cycle Accounts Payable Clerk
This role will be responsible for compiling and maintaining accounts payable records. The accounts payable clerk is an integral part of the accounting team. This position ensures that all invoices are paid in a timely manner and tracks the outgoing funds.
Essential Duties:
● Codes and posts all vendor invoices to operating system.
● Prepares records for payment runs for managerial review.
● Prepare invoice deduction notices, as necessary.
● Tracks receipts for all company credit cards.
● Reconciles credit card receipts to monthly billings and posts expenses to operating system.
● Responds to vendor inquiries.
● Analyzes vendor accounts and negotiates extended terms with vendors.
● Prepare accounts payable checks.
● Compiles accounts payable reports.
● Maintains all accounts payable files.
● Prepare analysis of accounts.
● Assists in monthly closings.
● Assists with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary.
This is an on-site role and salary is $45,000 - $50,000
