Ultrasound Technologist

Ultrasound Technologist providing imaging services in obstetrics, general, vascular, and breast modalities for a 13-week contract in Gallup, New Mexico. The role supports accurate diagnosis and patient safety while working with a dedicated team. You will collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians to interpret findings and contribute to patient care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality ultrasound imaging services for OB, General Ultrasound, Vascular, and Breast procedures, ensuring accurate diagnoses and patient safety.
• Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, including GE Logiq E units and Trophon systems, to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
• Document imaging procedures and patient information within Cerner CommunityWorks EMR system accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret findings and contribute to patient care plans.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control procedures during all imaging procedures and patient interactions.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited ultrasound technologist program.
• ARDMS certification in OB, General Ultrasound, Vascular, and Breast imaging.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in OB, General Ultrasound, Vascular, and Breast imaging.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
