Local Travel Ultrasound Technician

Ultrasound Technician in Gallup, NM for a 13-week contract, offering up to $2,700 per week. The role involves performing a variety of diagnostic ultrasound exams while ensuring patient safety and quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams per physician orders
• Conduct OB, General, Vascular, and Breast ultrasound studies
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during exams
• Accurately document findings and communicate results to the care team
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and follow imaging protocols
• Adhere to all hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• OB ultrasound experience
• General ultrasound experience
• Vascular ultrasound experience
• Breast ultrasound experience
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Active ARDMS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work in New Mexico
