Worship Leader

Overview The Well Church Frederick is a new church plant in the early development stage, and we are looking for a worship leader who has a heart for Jesus and a passion for helping people encounter God through worship. We are currently gathering on Sunday mornings for a simple one-hour service where we are laying the spiritual and relational foundation of the church. Our gatherings include worship, a 30 to 35 minute teaching, group interaction, prayer, and community. The worship leader will help lead our congregation in musical worship and create an atmosphere where people can connect with God and one another. Because we are in the early stages of planting the church, this role is an opportunity to help shape the worship culture and spiritual DNA of the church from the beginning. Responsibilities Responsibilities include leading worship during Sunday gatherings, helping select songs that align with the teaching and mission of the church, and collaborating with leadership to cultivate a worship environment that is authentic, prayerful, and focused on Jesus. Qualifications The ideal candidate has a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, experience leading worship in a church or ministry setting, and the ability to lead vocally while playing guitar or piano (preferred but not required).
