About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP, Advisory & Head of Reinsurance to lead and provide governance for its controlled transformation platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all transformation vehicles, structuring transformation deals, and managing relationships with investors, cedants, and brokers. This role involves leading the establishment and licensing of new collateralized insurers, reviewing and owning transactional documents, and serving as the primary contact for the BMA. The SVP will also be actively involved in client structuring, advising on asset and underwriting strategies, and assisting with capital optimization. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of experience in the (re)insurance sector, with a strong background in designing and executing sophisticated (re)insurance, retrocessional reinsurance, or securitization. Insurance qualifications such as CPCU, ACII, or ARe are required, and experience with insurance regulators in Bermuda, Cayman, Ireland, Guernsey, and/or the United Kingdom is advantageous. The role demands a proven track record in management, leadership, and the ability to maintain high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a confident and strong communicator, with the ability to bridge the gap between the advisory and service phases for all transactions in the transformation vehicles.
