Job Function
Implement automation and technology to improve productivity, efficiency, safety, and reliability of the production operations. Support maintenance team using technical problem-solving skills .
Essential Functions
Ø Implement improvements to automated and integrated die cast machine cells: robotic ladles, furnace control, sprayers, extractors, and hydraulic trim presses.
Ø Train others in the use and technical troubleshooting of automation equipment
Ø Work closely with the maintenance team to trouble-shoot and repair breakdowns
Ø Work with outside vendors involving in the use and maintenance of automation, controls, and technical equipment
Ø Assist in the inventory control of automation and control components
Qualifications
Ø In-depth knowledge of Fanuc robots and PLC controls
Ø Good verbal and written communication skills
Ø Relevant technical knowledge
Ø Problem-solving skills
Ø Efficiency and organization
Ø Ability to work well under pressure
Ø Teamworking skills

2nd shift: 3pm-11pm
3rd shift: 11pm-7am
