District Sales Manager - TEPEZZA Endo-Ocular -Kansas City District

Amgen seeks a District Sales Manager to lead Specialty Account Managers in the Kansas City endocrinology market. The role focuses on achieving sales goals, managing team performance, and executing strategic market penetration initiatives for TEPEZZA.

Responsibilities

• Lead area sales team and Specialty Account Managers to achieve market penetration and sales goals
• Develop strategic action plans based on market analysis and execute against corporate objectives
• Train team members on product messaging and ensure regulatory compliance in all promotional activities
• Conduct weekly ride-alongs with team members and provide coaching and written feedback
• Manage administrative duties, budgets, and develop professional growth plans for team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years sales/marketing experience, or Master's degree and 6 years, or Doctorate and 2 years
• 2 years managerial experience directly managing people or leading teams
• Sales experience in biologics, specialty, or rare disease products preferred
• Rare disease launch experience and buy-and-bill model experience preferred
• 80% travel capability with overnight and weekend commitments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills
