Certified Hand Therapist – Occupational Therapist OR Physical Therapist Full-time position Compensation: USD 93,000 - 109,000 per year (dependent on hand therapy experience) Sign-on bonus: $10,000 Half-day Fridays schedule option Location: Salem, OR (clinic with multiple convenient locations in the Portland metro area) SportsCare & Armworks is a therapist-owned clinic with a family culture and a reputation since 1963. We are actively seeking a dedicated Occupational or Physical Therapist to join our large hand team in Salem for immediate hire. We offer a mentorship program for therapists interested in becoming a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). Responsibilities & Treatment Areas Provide physical and occupational therapy to patients with post-traumatic, surgical, and repetitive strain injuries of the elbow, wrist, and hand. Deliver 45-minute one-on-one treatment sessions, 11 treatments per day. Charting required – a charting slot is built into your schedule. Participate in teaching and coaching patients, serving as an educator for their care. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited college with an AOTA curriculum. Current state of OR occupational/physical therapy license, current CHT license, CPR certification. Experience in splinting preferred, or strong willingness to learn splinting techniques. Excellent patient care and communication skills, ability to multitask while providing an exceptional experience. Passion for occupational therapy, hand therapy, and patient care. Enjoys working in a dynamic, multi-therapist team environment. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $93,000 - $109,000, depending on hand therapy experience. Different salary scale for non-CHTs – please inquire. Sign-on bonus available based on experience and clinic fit. $1,500 annual CEU allowance plus MedBridge subscription. Generous Paid Time Off.
