Step into a dynamic contract role supporting students across two elementary schools in the Shelbyville, IN area from January to May 2026. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated district Psychological Services team, focusing on comprehensive evaluations, biennials/triennials, and standard school psychologist responsibilities. This full-time position (40 hours/week, Monday through Friday) is ideal for professionals passionate about making an impact in school communities, ensuring the diverse needs of elementary-aged children are expertly met.
Compensation for this position ranges from $45 to $55 per hour, depending on your experience and degree level.
Qualifications:
- Hold active Indiana licensure in School Psychology
- Demonstrated background in school psychology with experience in student assessments and intervention planning
- Training in crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies
- Strong communicator with excellent collaboration skills
- Reliable transportation for itinerant support between two nearby elementary schools
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional development with tailored interventions
- Facilitate crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed
- Communicate regularly with educators, families, and district staff
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation
