GIS Specialist - Senior

GIS Specialist – Senior Location: Sacramento, CA; Onsite Responsibilities Perform system analysis, concept development, design, implementation, and documentation in the GIS specialty area. Prepare and implement user and project setup for GIS-related projects. Design databases, automation processes, processing macros, and analytical procedures. Maintain GIS application software and GIS databases. Perform digitizing tasks as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in geography, natural sciences, engineering, or computer sciences. Three (3) to five (5) years of GIS production experience using ESRI software. Three (3) or more years of experience using Python and/or ModelBuilder. Successful completion (within the past two years) of ESRI training courses may substitute for portions of experience and/or time requirements. Current knowledge of ArcGIS Desktop or Pro; Building Geodatabases or like coursework; Cartographic Production; ESRI 3D Creation/Analysis or Visualization coursework; Enterprise Geodata Management or like coursework; Modernizing your Field Workflows Using Fields for ArcGIS.
