Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BOBST Die Cutter Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining high-speed BOBST flatbed die-cutting equipment, specifically focusing on the BOBST Expert Cut 106 and/or BOBST 76 .

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with high-performance BOBST machinery, a strong mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for quality control, and a commitment to maintaining safety and high productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation & Setup: Perform full setups, adjustments, and smooth operation on BOBST Expert Cut 106 and BOBST 76 die-cutters in accordance with job specifications.
• Tooling & Preparation: Select, align, and install cutting dies, stripping equipment, and inline blanking tooling to optimize performance and sheet throughput.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished sheets regularly for registration accuracy, creasing/cutting quality, nick placement, and clean stripping to maintain zero-defect standards.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical, registration, or sheet travel issues promptly during high-speed runs to minimize downtime.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine daily, weekly, and preventive maintenance checks on equipment to ensure longevity and peak operational performance.
• Safety & Workplace Standards: Strictly adhere to all safety guidelines, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) protocols, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of [2–3+] years operating BOBST 76 and/or BOBST Expert Cut 106 die-cutters (or similar BOBST flatbed press technology).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of die-cutting principles, sheet feeding, register systems, stripping, and blanking across paperboard or folding carton stocks.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent (technical/vocational training preferred).
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long shifts, and perform repetitive bending or reaching.
• Key Skills: Excellent mechanical troubleshooting, high attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
