Material Handler

Material HandlerMaterial Handlers report to Warehouse Supervisor, who supervise the storage, movement and handling of different goods, supplies and materials. They also receive their daily job assignments from the Warehouse Supervisor, the daily tasks include moving large numbers of goods to and from various storage and production areas.In This Function, You Will:Follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the stateOperate forklift with care and with awareness to people and environment around machineEnsure forklift is properly stored, fueled, cleaned, and ready to operatePerform maintenance on machine as neededFollow and update inventory activity, lists, records, and log all completed tasksMove inventory and materials across facilitiesStack and organize large bulk itemsRemove inventory from trucks or shipping and delivery to proper locationCarry inventory for shipping to proper truckMove materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locationsMake note and request any damaged parts or replacements neededSubmit inventory records and log at close of dayAll other duties assigned by supervisorRequired Qualifications: HS degree or equivalent. Able to operate a stand up and sit down forklift. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 40 pounds.Preferred Skills Two (2) years? experience working with heavy machinery, forklifts, or other related equipment.
