This position works 8 hr. shift: Monday-Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, with overtime as needed.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (% of Time)You will be responsible for the flow of material in and out multiple departments. You will be responsible for picking and staging materials for production. You will be responsible for accurately scanning, returning, and loading products in designated racks. Which includes checking and ensuring that all counts are correct on raw and finished goods. (60%)You will be responsible for filling in when required as Back-up packer on production lines and setting up autofill and manual filling assignments for production. (35%)You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks onto the docks. (5 %)Additional ContributionsYou support the team by taking on other assigned duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility, teamwork, and a willingness to contribute wherever required.Other duties as assigned.DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEIf you can do everything listed above, you've got what it takes. The employee is occasionally required to sit. This role operates large equipment and needs to constantly position self to maintain the operation of equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment.WORK ENVIRONMENTWorks around moving mechanical parts. Noise levels can be loud. The job may risk exposure to dust, heat and/or cold, wet or humid conditions. Exposure to smells and dust from Chemical mixing procedures.
