Production Material Handler

Responsibilities Manage the flow of materials into and out of multiple departments within Production and Warehouse (60%) Pick and stage materials for production; accurately scan, return, and load products in designated racks, ensuring all counts are correct for raw and finished goods (60%) Serve as a back‑up packer on production lines, setting up autofill and manual filling assignments for production (35%) Load and unload trucks onto docks (5%) Support the team by performing other assigned duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork Desired Skills and Experience Problem‑solving ability and on‑the‑spot decision making Minimum 6 months forklift/reach truck experience Scanner usage and SAP warehouse handling experience Picking and packing from picking lists, UPS package preparation Experience with high‑speed production lines beneficial Physical Requirements and Work Environment Regularly required to stand, walk, see, talk, and hear; occasionally sit. The role involves operating large equipment and lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials up to 50 pounds, with heavier weights using proper equipment. Work environment includes moving mechanical parts, loud noise levels, dust, heat and/or cold, wet or humid conditions, and exposure to chemicals from mixing procedures. Personal protective equipment is provided. Work Status & Location This full‑time, non‑exempt position is located in West Chicago, IL. No domestic travel is required. Relocation is not available for this position. Pay and Benefits Pay range: $18.99 - $28.51 per hour.
