Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join a fast-paced orthopedic and neuro spine unit. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients, focusing on effective pain management and optimal recovery.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care to orthopedic and neuro spine patients.Monitor patient conditions, administer medication, and manage pain effectively.Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with the healthcare team.Participate in patient education regarding treatment plans and recovery management.Float to other medical-surgical units as necessary based on staffing needs.QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 2 years of experience, with mandatory orthopedic experience.Traveler Experience: First-time travelers are welcome with Epic experience.Certifications: BCLS and NIH required; ACLS preferred.Skills: Proficient in IV start and telemetry.Work ScheduleShift: 12-hour nights, from 18:45 to 07:15.Work hours options: 36 or 48 hours per week, with block scheduling available (F/S/S or S/S/M).Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required; compensation for missed shifts on weekends is necessary.No holiday time off requests will be approved.Patient PopulationAverage Daily Census: 37 patients.Room and Bed Availability: 39 rooms and beds.Patient Diagnoses: Orthopedic, neuro spine, medical-surgical, and post-surgical patients, including manageable Covid cases.Additional NotesInternal EKG testing is required prior to starting.Maximum allowable RTO is 7 days for auto offers.If you are a dedicated RN with a passion for orthopedic care and are looking for a challenging yet rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
