Senior Software Engineer

You will collaborate closely with product, architecture, and backend engineers to build scalable, secure, and high‑performance front-end solutions. Experience in the fintech industry is highly desirable.Develop high-quality, responsive web applications using AngularBuild scalable and resilient front-end applicationsDesign and deploy cloud native solutions on AWSCollaborate with product, architecture, and UX teams to deliver end-to-end featuresEnsure code quality through test driven development (TDD), code reviews, and best engineering practicesProblem-solving, communication, and cross-functional and collaborative practices. Role Requirements Master’s degree with 4 years of experience; bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience. Equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree. 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.4+ years frontend skills with Angular (TypeScript/JavaScript).4+ experience in RESTful microservices architecture.3+ years of experience with cloud, preferably AWS (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, S3, etc.).3+ years experience with CI/CD, Docker, and modern DevOps practices3+ system design experience.Preferred SkillsFintech experience (payments, risk, compliance, banking, etc.)Knowledge of security, authentication, and regulatory considerationsUI/UX awareness and ability to work with design systemsAWS Developer or Solutions Architect certification.Work Shift HYBRID - Western Union values in-person collaboration, problem solving, and ideation whenever possible.
