POSITION TITLE: 2nd Shift Custodian - Arcola Intermediate School/Skyview Upper Elementary School HOURS /DAY: 247 working days plus 13 holidays
3:00pm - 11:00pm - Tuesday-Saturday
COMPENSATION: $28.44
BENEFITS: Full-time as per current CBA with Teamsters Local #384
REQUIREMENTS:
1.Must be physically capable of lifting 50-75 lbs. with frequent carrying of loads up to 30 lbs.
2. Must be physically able to climb step ladder and extension ladder for lamp and ceiling tile replacement.
3. Prior custodial work experience and basic working knowledge of custodial equipment is a plus.
4. Ability to work well with the entire school staff.
5. Ability to exercise good judgment in carrying out prescribed routines and procedures as directed by the Head Custodian or the Assistant to the Director of Facilities.
6. Any and all other duties as assigned.
7. Pre-employment physical. (upon hire)
8. Current Act 34, Act 151 and FBI Fingerprint clearances (upon hire) RESPONSIBLITIES: Responsible for the cleanliness and operation of assigned buildings.
Responsible for minor repairs and duties as assigned by head custodian.
