Job Summary:
The Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) nurse position is located in a community hospital in Lake Havasu City. The role involves providing patient care in a facility that is accredited by the Joint Commission and features 171 beds, serving as both a regional referral center and a certified Chest Pain Center. The IMCU environment includes adult and geriatric patient populations with conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, sepsis, post-CABG, respiratory failure, atrial fibrillation with RVR, and others. The position offers a schedule of nights on a 3x12-hour shift pattern.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts weekly, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid current State license; 2 years recent acute care experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units; ICU experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required, including Medical Surgical and Telemetry units
• Additional Information: No block schedule requests; 48-hour shifts may be considered but are not guaranteed. Orientation is held weekly. The unit serves adult and geriatric patients with diverse cardiovascular and respiratory conditions, including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, and others. The facility is situated in a scenic outdoor recreation area close to major cities such as Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Los Angeles. Candidates must be at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered.
