This contract opportunity allows you to work full-time or part-time during the academic year through May 2027, with placements tailored to your expertise and interest.

Your dedication will support diverse learners in self-contained and resource settings, from behavior programs to specialized autism classrooms and preschool special needs programs. You’ll collaborate closely with students, families, and colleagues to nurture individual growth and success.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Current Special Education Teacher certification (SPED Cert) required
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP FP Card) required
• For the behavior program role: CPI certification and direct experience with behavioral needs preferred
• Early Childhood and SPED certification or demonstrated experience for the preschool classroom
• Passion for working with students across a variety of cognitive, emotional, and developmental ranges
• Ability to build positive, supportive relationships with students and teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction in self-contained and resource settings (including autism and behavioral support)
• Assess and monitor student progress, adapting lessons and supports as needed
• Implement IEPs and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
• Foster inclusive, structured, and positive classroom environments
• Communicate effectively with families, staff, and other stakeholders
