Position Details
We are currently looking for a Japanese teacher for one of our clients in Phoenix, United States.

- Location : Student's home in Phoenix (85034)
- Student Level : Lower Intermediate
- Student Age Group : 25-34
- Schedule : once per week on Thursday, Saturday or Sunday at 5:30 pm
- Start Date : 2026-07-30
- Motivation : Have grown an interest in both the music of Japan, and Yukio Mishima novels. I have taken the JLPT N2 before, know how to read and write fairly well, but have never been able to hold a conversation easily. Would like to grow myself by learning the language, enabling myself to talk to more people.
Ideal Candidate
- Be a native Japanese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
- Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
- Have a valid work permit/visa
- Live within 20 miles of the specified location
Conditions
- Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability
- Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
- Freelance, part-time position
- We are not able to sponsor visas
