Vice President, Office Management / Operations About the Company A leading Japanese semiconductor manufacturing equipment company is seeking a highly experienced and hands‑on Vice President of Office Management / Operations to oversee and optimize all administrative, operational, and office management functions in the U.S. organization. About the Role This role will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting business growth, and acting as a strategic bridge between U.S. operations and headquarters in Japan. Responsibilities Oversee all office management and administrative functions, including facilities, procurement, vendor management, and general operations Lead and manage cross-functional teams (HR, Admin, Accounting/Finance support, IT coordination) Establish and improve operational policies, procedures, and internal controls Manage budgeting, cost control, and financial oversight in coordination with finance teams Ensure compliance with U.S. regulations, company policies, and corporate governance standards Act as a key liaison between U.S. office and Japan headquarters, ensuring alignment and effective communication Support executive leadership with strategic planning, reporting, and operational execution Oversee HR-related functions including recruiting coordination, employee relations, and performance management support Drive process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives Manage external partners such as legal counsel, accounting firms, and service providers Oversee office expansion, relocation, or facility projects as needed Qualifications Bilingual in Japanese and English (business level or higher) Minimum 10+ years of experience in office management, operations, or general management roles Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, or industrial sectors strongly preferred Proven leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional operations Strong knowledge of U.S. business practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements Experience working in or with Japanese companies and understanding of Japanese corporate culture Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong financial acumen (budgeting, P&L understanding preferred) Ability to operate both strategically and hands‑on in a fast‑paced environment Pay range and compensation package 150K-160K Working Hours 8:00-17:00 Working Location Phoenix, AZ Holidays Saturdays, Sundays, and National Holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
