This role is responsible for assisting with patient treatment, taking dental impressions, performing radiographs, sterilization, patient education, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical SupportAssist dentists during dental implant, denture, oral surgery, and restorative proceduresProvide chairside assistance during patient exams and treatmentTake and process dental X-rays (where permitted by state regulations)Assist with dental impressions, wax bites, and prosthetic proceduresSupport denture fittings, adjustments, and insertions under dentist supervisionPrepare treatment rooms and instruments before proceduresMaintain proper infection control and sterilization protocolsPatient CareDeliver exceptional customer service and patient supportEducate patients on treatment options, denture solutions, aftercare instructions, and pricingReview patient information and maintain accurate clinical recordsEscort patients through treatment and checkout processesSupport positive patient experiences throughout their care journeyOffice & Operational SupportOpen and prepare the office for daily operationsMaintain clean and organized operatories and workspacesManage clinical inventory and order supplies as neededComplete required documentation accurately and timelyParticipate in training, continuing education, and team development initiativesQualificationsRequiredActive Dental Assistant (DA) certification (if required by state)Active Dental X-Ray Certification (where required)High School Diploma or GEDKnowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and chairside assisting proceduresPreferred1+ year of Dental Assistant experienceExperience with dentures, dental implants, oral surgery, prosthodontics, or extractionsExperience taking dental impressionsFamiliarity with digital radiography and dental software systemsSkills & CompetenciesChairside dental assistingDental implant proceduresDenture and prosthetic supportOral surgery assistanceDental impressions and wax bitesDigital X-rays and radiographyInstrument sterilization and infection controlPatient education and communicationAttention to detail and organizationTeam collaboration and customer servicePhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, sit, bend, and move throughout the workdayAbility to occasionally lift up to 50 poundsComfortable working in a clinical dental environmentAbility to follow safety protocols and infection control proceduresBenefits.
