ACCEL Schools is seeking a Facilities Coordinator in the Cincinnati/Dayton region. This individual will support a variety of facilities and operational activities. The Facilities Coordinator reports to the Sr Director of Procurement & Facilities and works collaboratively with other members of the Operations team to support our schools. Responsibilities: Manage the daily maintenance and repair activities for the school properties. Prioritize tasks to respond with the appropriate urgency as issues arise. Coordinate resources to maintain school facilities in clean and safe conditions. Visit schools for evaluation of contractor performance and to support school staff. Develop effective supplier relationships. Coordinate sourcing and bidding for annual contracts, service agreements and projects. Assist in operations related activities in support of schools and other properties. Management of various other projects as needed. Communicate effectively with school staff, management, and suppliers. Administrative functions: Adding and updating information in the maintenance management system. Coordinating documentation related to facilities maintenance activities and assets. Creating and managing facilities related schedules and records. Request purchase orders for facilities related services and supplies. Assist in project bid development and vendor selection. Administration of facilities related contracts. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum of two years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience operating and learning to use computer-based systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organization and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Professional, punctual and self-motivated. Experience with basic project management processes. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must pass federal and state criminal background checks (FBI/BCI). Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor degree or equivalent. Prior maintenance management experience. Experience using a facilities management system (CMMS). Experience working in an education setting. Compensation and Benefits: The compensation and benefits information below is accurate as of the date of this posting. The annual starting salary for this position is between $60,000 – $80,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
