Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Description Job Summary: Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring, ensuring continuous assessment and timely intervention. Works efficiently within a team to maintain patient safety and adherence to protocols during scheduled shifts. Responsibilities: Monitor patient's vital signs and cardiac rhythms continuously to detect any abnormalities. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Document patient progress, interventions, and responses accurately in medical records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans. Respond promptly to patient emergencies and escalate issues as needed. Educate patients and families about their condition and post-discharge instructions. Qualifications: Possess valid and current RN license. Have relevant experience in telemetry or cardiac care units. Demonstrate strong assessment and critical thinking skills. Be proficient in using telemetry monitoring equipment and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Hold BLS and ACLS certifications.
