Job Title: Accessioner I

As an Accessioner I, you will play a crucial role in the laboratory by processing and cataloging patient specimens, primarily blood, for analysis. Your work will support laboratory professionals in diagnosing and treating patients based on the samples received.

Responsibilities

• Receive and triage all specimens for clinical testing.
• Manage clinical information within the LIMS database.
• Perform internal audits of clinical charts.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure testing accuracy.

Essential Skills

• 0-2 years of work experience in a laboratory setting.
• High school diploma required.
• Proven attention to accuracy and deadlines.
• Ability to work well independently and within a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in laboratory processing, biology, and sample preparation.

Work Environment

This position is from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, during the 3rd shift with a 15% differential. The work environment is collaborative and requires precision and attention to detail.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Agoura Hills, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.85/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
