About the Role
The Company is seeking an FP&A Managing Director to spearhead strategic financial planning and analysis initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth in the FP&A Advisory practice, developing client relationships, and go-to-market strategies. This role involves close collaboration with senior leadership to ensure that finance strategies are in line with organizational goals, as well as providing insights into sales and spending trends to mitigate financial risks and identify opportunities. The FP&A Managing Director will also be expected to stay abreast of advancements in finance technologies and analytics to enhance client solutions, engage in business development activities, and support the growth of the FP&A Advisory team in the Greater NYC area. Applicants for the FP&A Managing Director position at the company must have a Bachelor of Science degree in finance or a related field, with 12-15+ years' of progressive finance experience, preferably in consulting or professional services. The role requires a proven track record in generating new business and expanding client relationships, advanced knowledge of FP&A functions, and experience with finance technologies such as Adaptive Workday, Anaplan, Tableau, and ERP systems. A strong entrepreneurial mindset, commitment to building impactful consulting practices, and transactional experience in M&A, refinancing, and scenario modeling are also preferred. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead projects, engage stakeholders effectively, and ensure the successful delivery of finance transformation solutions.
